Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, and versatile Help Desk Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support for our office environment, including networking, casino management system, POS system, and general software and hardware issues. In addition to help desk responsibilities, the candidate will also be responsible for data entry and analysis related to the casino management system, including working with data visualization tools to create reports for marketing and management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support core business processes and databases
- Provide technical support for office users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform data entry tasks related to the casino management system, including manual entry and uploading CSV files
- Work with data visualization tools to create reports for marketing and management as needed
- Extract monthly data from prebuilt queries for uploads to the casino management system
- Provide Excel support and expertise to end-users
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data quality and accuracy
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Windows, networking, and software applications
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Familiarity with relational databases and data analysis concepts
- Proficiency in Excel, including creating complex spreadsheets and data visualizations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Nice to Have:
- Fundamental SQL skills
- Experience with Linux command line tools
- Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase)
- Experience with data entry and data management best practices
