Part Time
JOB SUMMARY:
The banquet server is responsible for welcoming guests to the event center, and for serving their food and beverages. The server provides consistently excellent customer service before and during the meal by being attentive to the guest’s needs.
This position receives automatic gratuities and is ideal for “as-needed” workers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcomes guests with a friendly smile
- Attends to customer needs throughout the event by serving food and replenishing beverages
- Promotes teamwork by assisting fellow employees in cleaning and maintaining the service areas
- Clears, busses, cleans and resets tables when required
- Replenishes restaurant supplies
- Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping and dusting
- Keeps informed of changes in menu or item availability
- Always puts the customer first
- Performs other restaurant related duties as assigned by the restaurant supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good interpersonal skills; congenial and outgoing
High standards of personal hygiene
Ability to learn and operate computer programs for food and beverage service
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to tend to details.
Full Time
The Surveillance Director is responsible for providing management and oversight of all surveillance monitoring at the property, to include assets, employees, vendors, and guests in order to safeguard funds, property, and physical safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all employees and guests. Maintain a professional work environment with management and staff.
- To manage a department whose efforts are aimed at the protection of casino assets and adherence to internal controls, IRGC regulations and procedures.
- Manage and maintain a closed network digital surveillance system in a 24x7x365 highly regulated casino environment.
- Provide leadership and oversight to enable successful daily operations of the department, to include delegating and assigning work.
- Responsible for leading and managing a team, to include hiring, onboarding, training, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, coaching, and managing employee performance/conduct concerns as needed.
- Responsible for motivating and mentoring staff, promoting collaboration and teamwork, with the goal of fostering a team-first culture that best enables the success of both the individual and team.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage based on business needs, managing time-off requests, and timely review/approval of payroll to ensure accurate pay of each team member.
- Make recommendations to the General Manager, based on observations made during Surveillance activity, concerning changes in policies and procedures of other departments with the protection of company assets in mind.
- Report all incidents of criminal activity to the General Manager, DCI, and IRGC in a timely manner.
- Provide training concerning all aspects of the casino and resort operations.
- Maintain an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication and teamwork with all departments which depend on the support of the Surveillance department.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- High School graduate, college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years casino supervisory experience with at least 3 years in Surveillance.
- Extensive knowledge of casino cheating and theft scams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent overall knowledge of casino operations and surveillance operations.
Ability to obtain a Class A license issued by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
Full Time
Responsible for providing the casino’s banking services to customers by providing change and chips. Also responsible for enrolling customers into the casino players’ club and for explaining promotional events to customers.
