JOB SUMMARY:

The banquet server is responsible for welcoming guests to the event center, and for serving their food and beverages. The server provides consistently excellent customer service before and during the meal by being attentive to the guest’s needs.

This position receives automatic gratuities and is ideal for “as-needed” workers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcomes guests with a friendly smile
• Attends to customer needs throughout the event by serving food and replenishing beverages
• Promotes teamwork by assisting fellow employees in cleaning and maintaining the service areas
• Clears, busses, cleans and resets tables when required
• Replenishes restaurant supplies
• Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping and dusting
• Keeps informed of changes in menu or item availability
• Always puts the customer first
• Performs other restaurant related duties as assigned by the restaurant supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature boozy milkshakes, cocktails, beers, and wines.
• Follow established recipes while also bringing creativity to new seasonal or specialty drink offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Ensure all drinks are served in compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner; provide recommendations and upsell menu items.
• Handle cash, credit, and POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown, including prep of ingredients like milkshake bases, syrups, and garnishes.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation throughout all bar operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Experience with dessert-style or blended drinks (milkshakes, frozen cocktails, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
